Many people in the world, and thus the kink scene, are in some way familiar with neurodivergence.
AD(H)D is one of the most common and wellknown forms of it.
Even though most of us know AD(H)D, do we really KNOW? There are still a lot of misconceptions,
expectations, doubts and fears surrounding this topic.
These ideas are well rooted in our society and (not in the last place) in the minds of people who are
(self)diagnosed with this extra feature.
This difference in wiring can cause all kinds of situations and reactions. Not only in a
(kink)relationship, but also in a play situation, your personal life and mind or in the scene in general.
Some of these are wanted and positive, some might be (felt as) less favourable. The same goes for
the special traits people with AD(H)D might have. This workshop focusses on how AD(H)D can affect
people who identify as a D-type on multiple levels.
During this interactive session we’ll cover subjects like timing, preparations, communication,
emotional regulation, etc. Although the focus is about positive reinforcement, the heavier issues like
comorbidities, mental and physical issues, dangers and fears will not be ignored either.
