Ritual & Protocol in BDSM

Title: “It’s a kind of magic!”
Our lives (and especially in the kink scene) are filled with tons of rituals and protocols. These can
vary from small daily actions to important, once in a lifetime ceremonies and everything in between.
This workshop will cover the basics of what rituals, routines, protocols, rites and ceremonies are
(not) and how to incorporate them in your play, relationship or daily life in a way most suitable for
you.
Ritual and protocol can be used to strengthen a bond or add a new level to a scene / party, but also
to improve communication, add structure and learn new skills for example. Rituals can make things
like selfcare and doing chores easier and more fun.
The subjects include how to get started (or adding to what you already do/know), various (play)
examples and tips & tricks. Naturally, this also means talking about common “mistakes” and
troubleshooting (if needed). We’ll also talk about ritual-play, selfcare, daily rituals, (collaring)
ceremonies and symbolism in and outside of the kink scene. You will also work on building (or
adjusting) a protocol yourself.
